Hey guys!
So today I just wanted to give you a few good Christmas reads. Also just a heads up I will be doing a part 2 & 3 of this one just because over the holiday season I will be reading more books. Alright so here we go:
The Story Of Holly And Ivy By Rumer Godden

“Here is a story about wishing… Ivy is a little orphan who has no one to be with on Christmas Eve. So she wishes very hard. Holly is the doll left all alone in the toyshop on Christmas Eve. So she wishes very hard, too. What do they wish for? Will their wishes come true?” This is a really cute book & it is one I try to read every year. I would probably say that for the age recommend-ation for this book you just need to know how to read. I’m giving this one 4/5π.
The Nutcracker By E.T.A. Hoffmann

You are probably familiar with the Nutcracker story, as it is a pretty popular one, so I will keep this one short. I really love this book. Our dad reads it to us a chapter a day in December & it is really fun. For age I think that it is probably fine for most ages but there are some parts that can be a bit scary, so parents might still want to check. I give this one 5/5π
I hope you have a great day, & happy reading!
