Queens Of Geek by Jen Wilde

Three friends. Two love stories. One convention.

“Charlie likes to stand out. She’s a vlogger and actress promoting her first movie at SupaCon, and this is her chance to show fans she’s over her public breakup with costar Reese Ryan. Then when internet famous, cool girl actress Alyssa Huntington arrives, it seems Charlie’s longtime crush on her isn’t as one sided as she thought.

Taylor likes to blend in. Her brain is wired differently, making her fear change. And there’s one thing in her life she thinks will never change: her friendship with her best guy friend, Jamie-no matter how much she may secretly want it to. But when she hears about a fan contest for her favorite fandom, she starts to rethink her rules on playing it safe.”

This book is good. I like that it has lesbian romance and straight romance. I finished this book in about three days so if you are looking for a quick read then you should try this one. It is a romance novel but it’s not the kind where the whole book is about the partners. Basically, what I mean is the characters still have a life that isn’t just their relationships, which I like. This book can be confusing at some points, for example, the beginning. Where it almost seems like there was a book before this one. Which there is not. I also found a lot of this book relatable. Tay’s anxiety, Charlie’s fear and more. Overall, I’m giving this book 4/5😄. I would probably say ages 12+ since this romance is pretty mild, but you should still confirm it with an adult.
