“The case is closed. Five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell was murdered by Sal Singh. The police know he did it. Everyone in town knows he did it.
But having grown up in the same small town that was consumed by the murder, Pippa Fitz-Amobi isn’t so sure. When she chooses the case as the topic for her final year project, she starts to uncover secrets that someone in town desperately wants to stay hidden. And if the real killer is still out there, how far will they go to keep Pip from the truth?”
I first saw this book-on-book Tok and at first, I was unsure about it. With books on book Tok they are usually either really good, or not so good. I have been disappointed a couple of times. But this was not one of them. A Good Girls Guide to Murder is the perfect teen murder mystery. It definitely kept me confused and curious about who the killer was the whole book. I really liked the main characters Pip and Ravi, they were actually pretty smart, and had me laughing even though this is a murder mystery.
This book is exiting, interesting, mysterious and definitely brought that detective part of me back to the surface. Throughout the book my suspect list changed and grew as much as Pip’s did.
I’m giving it 5/5😄 And I would recommend ages 14+ if you are Ok with more adult subjects like drugs, rape and murder.
